A warm ink pour creates a very subtle glow within the silhouette, the negative space does most of the talking, painted in an ochre yellow shade that leans a caramel brown hue depending on the light. The natural fleck of the raw canvas remains visible throughout.
Stretched on 1.25 inch deep stretcher bars, the painted image wraps around about 0.25 inches of the edges, with the remainder left as clean, raw canvas.
The painting is finished with a matte, UV-protective, removable varnish and is signed, titled, and dated on the lower right on the back of the work.
